Hey! So here's the deal... I think I might have mentioned that i'm condencing my blogs into one... well it's going to be at :  So Brilliant Life, formally Brilliantly Beautiful. I'm still playing around with the name of the blog or atleast the url... But for now it is that. So posting on here will soon be none. Which means you should totally go to So Brilliant Life and check out my 31 things feature there! I'm pretty excited about this, I find that it will be more organized and easier to be consistent with posting! So enjoy and see you there!

Too Many....

Hey Everybody! Happy Belated New year! Well, i've been thinking a lot lately and I think I have too many blogs. I think I need to condense and focus on one. I probably wont keep this one, but add it as a feature to my other general blog. I think this will be a good change and help me keep up with blogging more. :) I'll post a link to the blog I choose to use as my primary blog soon.
But until then
Later! and have a good snow day!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year... to Craft!

I love Christmas and it's almost here I'm anxious to start playing Christmas music more and I'm trying so hard to resist decorating till the sunday after Thanksgiving, but the box of decorations is staring me down. Christmas is the only holiday I like to buy decorations for, but this year I want to handmake some too. So here's my list for my handmade Christmas:
1.) Make ornaments using the Epoxy resin. (I saw this on HGTV a few years ago and wanted to do it since.)
2.) Make Wreaths
3.) Take Pictures and use for decorating and ornament making
4.) Host a dinner party
5.) Make Sockings. I sewed one, it needs more work as far as the shape of it, but it was pretty easy
6.) Make blankets with fleece. They are super easy and super warm and make great gifts!
7.) Make a playlist of my favorite Christmas songs for the blog. Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra will definately make the list!
8.) And Take pictures of everything and post on here (sorry for lack of pictures, I work retail and it's our craziest season, so i'm busy with work)

The Dinner and a movie Party:

So my roommate and I decided we want to host a dinner when we first moved in. I like to dress up for it will be a semi formal, or casual.. I'm not sure. But we plan on cooking a nice meal consisting of: Stuffed Chicken or Pizza (we do like to keep things casual), salad, vegetables of some sort, or breadsticks... and fpr dessert either cupcakes decorated christmas style, pie, cookies, or fruit pizza if we go with the pizza.
And after dinner, or during (we don't have this planned out entirely) watch the movie ELF!

I also want to try to candy too. Like fudge, hard candy, chocolates. Etc...

So yeah that is kinda my plan for my handmade holiday!
And I do promise to take pictures :)

Business Update

Hey everyone!
So i've been on vacation for the past few days, but I feel like its going way too fast... Well my last post I announced that I opened a new business, well, it's still in the working, but business is extremely hard. I'm mostly stuck on making inventory. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be opened, fingers crossed! But as much as I really want to open and get things started, I want to take my time and do things super well. I am super excited and extremely happy to start what i've wanted to for so long. Dreams are nice and should be fulfilled!

#8

Hey! So guess what!?!? I'm beyond excited about this... So I haven't actually posted this list on here, but I have a list of 30 things I want to do before I turn 30.. and one of them is starting a business... Well I have. I know Etsy is more popular, but I don't like the fact that they recieve commission and how they listing works, so I went with Artfire. It's kind of an etsy alternative. They have a free basic option and a pro, they don't don't have fees at all, if you go pro you just pay a fee per month and thats all. I decided to take a leap of faith and try it. It will be up and running in a week so I will definitely keep you posted. I've always wanted to run my own business and even more so now. I can't wait to be self employed! Well That's all I wanted to share for now!
